A varied drawing toolkit expands the possibilities for your artwork, which is why we’re launching our new online Drawing Techniques class! Taught by Artuta instructors Joan and Kosuke, each week you will be guided step-by-step through methods, approaches and styles that will immediately improve your drawing.
This one hour long class will be a deep dive into topics like: the human form, architecture, self-portraiture and putting it all together into complete works. You’ll get familiar with different kinds of pencils and papers and learn to relate to your drawing through a new lens. Each class reserves time for you to apply your skills in a personal way and then share your work for immediate, one-on-one feedback—all designed to help you discover and develop your artistic potential.
Why pay for a class when you can just do an online tutorial for free? We at Artuta know that art can’t be taught—but it can be inspired. So while online tutorials can demonstrate techniques, our live teacher’s guide you in applying what you learn to your artistic practice so that you experience new and unexpected results. All levels welcome. No experience necessary!
Looking for a way to put your new skills into practice? JoinDrawing Lab, our weekly online open-drawing community which works in dialog with Drawing Techniques.
