Artist Workshop Crochet
Learn various art making process from professionals!
Wednesdays | Ages 18+
Artuta’s Artist Workshops provide interesting and unique courses for our adult students. Each workshop is led by different artists versed in their fields. Classes range from Crochet to Bookmaking to Kintsugi and many more. Beginners and pros are all welcomed!
In this class, students will learn the absolute basics of crochet with our instructor and textile artist, Jackie Blue! We will learn how to hold a crochet hook and be comfortable with using yarn, how to do basic stitches and techniques, and by the end of the class, students will know how to create a rectangular crochet piece that could be used as a dish cloth!
To know the basics of crochet is very important in creating more advanced and larger pieces. We will offer more advanced lessons and introduce new techniques in future, so stay tuned!
