Comics Drawing
Learn basics and make your own comics
Sat & Sun, 9am-12pm | Ages 10-18
Artuta’s Comics Drawing Workshop offers students the unique opportunity to learn foundational skills in storytelling, character design, and comic strip creation. Co-taught by our instructors, Jerry (remotely) and Kosuke (in-person), this workshop takes place at Tappeto Volante in Brooklyn.
In the March session, the workshop focus will be on exploring character design and story development. Students will design their own character(s) to interact with pre designed characters, creating a comic strip that brings their ideas to life. This workshop encourages creativity within a structured framework, teaching young artists to craft expressive characters and engaging narratives. By the end of the workshop, students will have completed their own short comic while developing foundational storytelling skills.
