4-Week Course
$160 per session (including select materials)
April 13 - May 8, 2022
May 18 - June 12, 2022
Artuta’s Four Week Course is designated to learn the fundamental creativity in visual arts and beyond for kids aged 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Participants will practice using different materials, developing their imagination through various approaches. Pencils, colored pencils, markers, pastels, watercolors, origami, scrap paper, and leaflets, for instance.
The contents of the 2022 Spring/Summer Session are focused on drawing, paper cut-out, watercolor, bookmaking and design. Each week, an instructor demonstrates different techniques of art-making. Classes are structured step by step—kids will start enjoying simple methods towards little complex, gradually developing their creative skills over four weeks. The practice contents will differ from session to session; therefore, experienced kids can learn new skillsets every time.
Our course aims to enhance children’s creativity, concentration, and problem-solving ability through a student-centered process. The instructor will show the children multiple examples of each technique. They will naturally learn how to use lines, shapes, colors, and the characteristics of materials through observing the instructor’s works. Yet, students are also free to create ideas based on their interests, imaginations, and personalities. We value collaborative relationships with participants, leading them to bring unique outcomes.
*This course is currently appropriate for kids living in the timezone of the east coast of the United States.
