Workshop Description

What’s the longest line you have ever drawn? How many hands wide is the widest piece of paper? In this workshop, kids are encouraged to go big while contributing to our community drawing on really super-extra-mega-huge paper! Playing with scale-in this case, the relationship of size between the paper and the student- means perceiving and expressing ourselves in a dynamic new way. For one hour, Artuta instructors Joan and Koskue will guide your child in collaborative drawing activities exploring scale, offering one-on-one tips and encouraging experimentation. We’ll bring paper and drawing tools and artworks will be photographed and uploaded to the Artuta Online Gallery so everyone can see!

Suggested Materials

We’ll provide paper and pens and you are welcome to bring your own as well.
