Workshop Description

Grab a plain t-shirt and join Artuta for a fun and engaging design workshop using special fabric paint from the Fun Pack! First, the instructor will demonstrate some possibilities for the project. Then kids will sketch their designs out on paper to formulate their ideas. Once we’ve decided on our designs, we’ll apply them to our shirts—light-colored works best!—using fabric pens and paints. The end of class will be reserved for sharing and reflection, and uploading our images to the Artuta Online Art Gallery . Please note that once the design has dried, an adult will need to set it using an iron according to the instructions we provide. photographed and featured in the instructions.

Required Materials

T-shirt (light colors work best!), fabric pens and paint*, cardboard (to go inside the shirt), paper and pens, iron
*Artuta will ship fabric pens and paint to students in advance.
